To clarify, I don't think that I've ever said "Islam is bad". I won't deny suggesting that IsBeef is bad, that's true. But as Brian has pointed out, the two are different things...

To be honest, I think that Islam has it's good parts and its bad parts. And I think that it's the duty of every Muslim to help accentuate the positives and diminish the negatives. But to simply deny that they exist is disingenuous.

About your links, I'm not quite sure what impression you expect me to glean from them. Please clarify your point, I'd like to explore your ideas.

Where in the world is this form of Islam actually practiced? I ask because, for example, in the flash video there's a picture of Muslims praying outside the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem and I know that Islam, as it is described in the flash video, is absent from that place.

Look, I've never said that Islam is all bad. But let's face it, there are some bad aspects. To claim that Islam contains no incitement to violence against non-Muslims (and to say that anyone who finds any is quoting out of context and ignorant) is disingenuous. Both ethically and morally.

Right now the message of Islam is being hijacked by those who this video says “claim to be Muslim but do not practice Islam”. Rather than complain about being falsely criticized, it is the job of every right thinking Muslim (by this I mean every Muslim who practices the Islam described in the flash video) to stand up and loudly denounce the words and actions of those who would pervert the message of their prophet. To do any less would be an insult to Mohammed and his message.

I'm often amazed by people at times. I just finished up an online course on Critical Thinking and Fallacies. A large precentage of the class never relized how often Fallacies are used everyday or even by themselves....
