Now compare that with some anonymous persons who would, if they could, murder every criminal (or person assumed to be same without real proof), carry arms at all times, consider everyone with skins or hair slightly darker than yours as personae non gratae, idem those who speak a foreign language or worship with different religious views, who approve of war and other violence, who choose to shop at Walmart etc.

And you have the gall to accuse me of being an unhinged witchhunter? I consider that as a personal insult which is unworthy of any forum member. Maybe Sasq may have something to say about ad personal attacks.
aye, Sasq did and does have something to say about it, but I thought I would leave you with first shot - that and I was busy working my 15th day straight.

Personal attacks are in general reserved only for yours truely, and then used only when someone does something to really irritate most of us.

KvH's little comment from above didn't so much strike me as the pot calling the kettle black, as the pot looking in the mirror, calling itself a kettle, and then calling it black.

I remember a thread not so long ago, where kvh was ready to go out and lynch a male teacher in Florida for doing something wrong to a student. without any evidence more then a single news report. as it turned out, the teacher was on the other side of the school and the student made it up to get back at him for putting her on detention.

So, KvH himself has proved not only his own inability to judge rationally, but I would also like to point out his own short attention span problems - remember the cruise movie thread from a few days ago?

so for those of you with a really short attention span, lets recap.
    pot, pot, black.

edit fixed some speeeling mistakes - thanks llc

Well I was thinking KVH was referring too people who always find a way to defend an evil persons actions.

Problem is in this country that the Murder or whatever seems to more rights than the victimn
and the Victimns familes are forgotten.

Reading today how this 16 yr old yob hit a 44 year old bloke with a nailed wooden plank. The 44 year old needing 24 hr medical help the rest of his life. The sentance one year in a child home where he'll be able to walk out and terrorise the local neighbourhood. He even admitted he intended to cause harm.

Well, I didn't remember what I had said about the Florida Teacher, and apparently others did not as well.

Doesn't say how old the girls were who were accusing him. It might be true that they were ganging up on him for some reason (watch The Breakfast Club and tell me those students wouldn't want to "get" that ass hole supervisor somehow), but then.. who knows? I know parents tend to think of their kids as sweet innocents even when they aren't anymore, and if it had been me and someone had messed with my daughter, I wouldn't have been any different.. some fool knight in armor for my little girl. If she DID lie about it, I bet she felt about one inch tall after her Dad went to that extreme for her.
Interesting that the girl still stands by her story.. enough so that she escalated the situation at peril to herself by making a statement to the sheriff's department. Having in real life dealt with brain-dead school administrations that just didn't give a damn about kids, I could imagine them just covering their asses in this case. Their spokesman did seem to think he was empowered to decide guilt or innocence in this matter, even though it was beyond his purview. If the girl has made a formal complaint to the law, as she apparently has, they will quickly find that they have no power to decide a criminal case just because it happened on school grounds. The father did what he did because he was dissatisfied by the administration's actions in the first place.. he did attempt to use the proper channels first, seeking out the TA only after becoming dissatisfied. The reporter writing this blurb relates it thus: "When he saw that the man was not in the meeting, he asked his daughter to take him to the classroom." Alright, boys and girls, does this sentence tell the whole story about why he went off looking for the guy? Again, according to the report, the assault occurred after "a verbal exchange became heated." Since this is the only description we have of the encounter, it can be interpreted in any way our imaginations lead us. Was the father right or wrong? Depends. We just don't know enough from a half page news article which was written by a human being who was not there to witness it.. a human being like everyone else here commenting without knowing in any serious details the particulars of this case.
Apparently I just stated that I could understand why the dad would get emotional and punch the guy. A punch in the face is different from a systematic fear campaign that punishes the hero when he's most needed. This is what I was referring to.

Well, you did suggest cutting out the ovaries of that 23yo female teacher. Was this remotely sane? Was it the nice liberal progressive pacifist person you fashion yourself to be?

Let's agree that we both get emotional sometimes. For my part, I'm sorry for the name-calling.

Well from my point of view I love KVH view as he shoots from the hip and winds up the pc crowd that devalue modern society. Another words he gets debate.

Lol. More shooting AT the hip (or thereabouts).

Calm down folks. If it makes you feel better, I find you all pretty insane.
