What is the 7-11 in Syracuse?

My guess is that it is a fortified monastery in Europe, more likely of W. religious culture, rather than Orthodox. I don't think it is very far south (deciduous trees). Everything looks neat and tidy (trimmed hedges, no litter or leaves in street). All this smacks of possibly Germanic or Nordic culture. I don't know why, but Denmark or a couple of hundred km therefrom tells me something???????????
