It wouldn't happen to be the Philips Conference Centre in Eindhoven, by any chance?Brian (the devil incarnate)

Had a train of thought. The tram reminded me of the old Lille ones and Lille is close to Roubaix, a great centre of cycling. Is it a velodrome?Brian (the devil incarnate)

Good grief that was quick... yours of course is Mt. St. Michel, on the Normandy coast of France.
Why such an easy one?

While waiting for your next one, have a look at this.
It has virtually the same name, and is also on an island reached by a causeway at low tide. It is St. Michael's Mount off the coast of Cornwall. I'm not able to say whether one was copied off the other, either by name or style. The castle is owned by some minor nobility but I believe the gardens there are spectacular.Brian (the devil incarnate)
