Someone may have an pcpro mag from last year. If you look under simply computers that may give the warrenty period. A nice little pickie will do.

IDE drives 3 Years warranty
"The warranty start date commences on the date of purchase by the end-user. If you do not have a copy of your purchase receipt, the warranty period begins on the date of manufacture found on the main label of the drive, plus an additional three (3) months."

Using there drives in there web server LOL.
The problem is that it isn't Fujitsu handling the warrenties it's another company. I don't think they can change the warrenty on a whim though.

The shorter warrenty must be because they get damp after being shipped from Japan therefore the warrenty has to be less.
The dustbin beckons and no more Fujitsu stuff for me.
