Hey Maggi,

I am with you on that one. The price of 540 € over here simply busts my student`s budget at the moment ...

Haig - we have parity with the dollar at the moment ! Where does the price tag come from ??

    MK

    P.S.: I will get a Parhelia sooner or later - that`s for sure !!
    P.P.S: Austrian dealer "ECO-TEC" ( http://www.etcc.at/ ) has listed Parhelia: MATROX Parhelia-512 | Dual-DVI AGP 128MB bulk | €422.24

Not even your European Online Shop has one in stock, but instead they only offer a pre-order ...

        Any feedback on this ?

        Thanx,

The boards are trickling in and should be available in higher volumes throughout this week. Don't worry, OLS should be well stocked as the days pass...since we have to fulfill pre-orders first.

            Howdy Maggi, MK,

check here or here for lower prices (with 425.50 EUR being the lowest one right now for bulk and 469.00 EUR for retail).

              Thanx, Rakido !

But, for one, I already ordered one from Matrox Online Shop and for the other, those offers are still quite a bit above 349 and 399 US-$ (OEM & retail), plus you cannot guarantee that those offering dealers really have a card in stock.

sorry , you'll have to contact the nearest Matrox office. They'll be able to talk about pricing with you.

Sales soup, tried that (sort of here) just got some BS story.
but at over $500usd for retail with no japanese language drivers yet, lots of people I know here are not very interested at this time

English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleys, knocks them over, and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

hehe ... looks like Soupy is playing polititian by refering to his oversea colleagues.

Maybe I'll give the german office a call and try to get an answer, dunno yet, since my boss pays for it anyways.

                        Cheers,

I'd loooove to answer that. Unfortunately, the phones are off the hook thanks to Parhelia sales, and I gotta supervise the team.

Parhelia looks like a great card. Not buying (yet?) for following reasons:

No programming spec (2d+3d)

No linux xfree86 driver (spec would do...)

No BeOS driver (spec would do...)

No QNX driver (spec would do...)

Waiting for MAX version

Devrel will not answer any more. Even for real production issues (At work have '000s of Gx00MMS cards, but they still won't answer me ).

Large price discrepency between UK/US. Fed up with paying more than (US/1.55)*1.175!

Also now the G400 is fairly old, any chance of WARP specs. Please

edit
I can't spell Parhelia...
