      here you guys are, rambeling on about the latests tweaks and configs for Doom3, whilst I am at home, absolutly crapping my pants! There is NO WAY, I am playing this game during night time!

      Just got the game today, runs nice on my laptop (Centrino 1.4, 256, 64 R9200) on 800x600, plus all those advanced settings on, except AA.

            I expect that is why tou can't get the bumps ...
            I imagine you may be having problems with the FAA-16x too.

            I read over on the Matrox forum that some people were having problems with bumps and FAA-16x on the 4x ...
            RichieG ... advised turning them off.....

                Maybe you should hassle Matrox ... although I'm not sure it will get you anywhere ! ....
