Yes Buddman, marijuana causes cancer. Look: http://www.sarnia.com/groups/antidru.../cncrlink.html
THC doesn't, but neither does nicotine. Maybe you should advocate THC pills instead.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

So what? It's just a delivery mechanism. If you want to get high legally, then you'll find a way. Use a pill, use a patch, I don't care. If it is legalized, then it is the user's responsibility to make sure that it doesn't affect me. Smoking marijuana shouldn't be legal in conditions where passers-by are put at risk to intoxication. If that limits your ability to "enjoy," then that's a problem you need to deal with.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Wombat, that study is useless. If you knew anything about pot you would also know that you should trust your sources on where you get it from. The study they use is not accurate because you CAN get cleaner pot and most people that know anything about it do get it cleaner (hydro is da shit). Again, you should read those links I posted....System Specs:

Why should I read and acknowledge only your links? Because they're from groups such as NORML that share your bias, that makes them trustworthy? Knowing your sources is important regardless of your use/need of the information. Science is a well-recognized source of information. You claim that marijuana is not detrimental, and when I provide something to counter your claim, all you have to counter with is that the study is "useless" because any refined pot smoker knows to avoid bad marijuana? How about these links: http://search.atomz.com/search/?sp-q...p-a=sp1000ae72
Are these useless as well? How about JAMA? Should I even link to their publications, or are you foolish enough to immediately attempt to discredit them as well?Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Same priciple applies. At least I read your material. You won't even read mine. And again, these studies do not say that marajuana specifically causes cancer, as it does not.System Specs:

Buddman, yes I do know a large deal about pot, and umm err yes it does contain large amounts of Tar - which scientists do beleive cause cancer... Now I do agree with it being legalized. But in moderation.
I come from a state where it is decriminalized. We have access to information in my state for both the good and bad sides to it.
Yes it does cause long term memory umm err whats that word.
Yes it does impaire your mental faculties. And yes I knowJuu nin to iro

Give me a study where it cites and proves that marajuana impairs long term memory. This is all I am asking. And again, marajuana itself does not cause cancer, only the chemicals involved do. You can get it clean, esp. if you grow it yourself and know what you are putting into it. But nothing has quoted that marajuana specifically causes cancer.System Specs:

Buddman, I know first hand that it impairs long term memory. How many studies do you need into tar causeing cancer before you can see the connection between any inhaled smoke and cancerJuu nin to iro

Marajuana itself does not create tar. THC does not create tar unless you smoke A LOT (and I am talking about more than an ounce a day, which is freakin way too much). I smoke too and can say my long term memory has not been compromised (I do not abuse the substance, I probably smoke 3-5 times a month, and not in large amounts). Until you can come up with actual proof of this, you cannot say for sure that it impairs long term memory.
Oh, and did I mention I run 3-5 miles a day. So I know that smoking sure hasn't impaired my ability to run and breathe properly.System Specs:
