then son, you smoke much less then regular users.
most people I know from my home state have 3-4 or more a day.
And I don't have time this moring to come up with proof. but please check the Australian medical journals. and btw duh, thc is a chemical, it is not the only thing the plant produces - grown naturally or hydroponically. Please go and do research on the chemical composition of it. I don't object to anyone smokeing it, what I object to is people denying that it can/will have ill side effects

Haha, 3 or 4 what? Bowls?? Ok son.

There are times I will smoke many bowls, joints, blunts, etc a week, esp if I am off work or on a road trip for a gig. And define regular users Sasq. And again, I've done my research and even posted it.

There are many different types of weed plants Sasq, so there is a way to get "clean" weed if you know what you are doing. Again, it will have ill side effects if you abuse it. I think what you are describing are people that actually do abuse it (I dunno if you are talking about smoking 3-4 joints, bowls, size of the bowls, etc. You need to be more specific). But if you use it without abusing it, I do not see that it creates any ill side effects.

where I'm from a regular user is at least 2 ~ 3 cones a night.

Most of my friends can't even get out of bed in the morning without a cone. There is no such thing as 'clean' weed buddman. Sorry to burst your pro-dope lobby properganda but there isn't. get over it. I don't feel the urge to provide you with links/evidence as even if I did you would just keep find excuses or other links to 'prove' them wrong. Take it from an ex-smoker it does affect you, it will affect you. That is all

Edit: And as children who are the original point to this thread will abuse it, as they abuse alcohol etc will be affected

Um....there is such a thing man, and you obviously don't anything about it. Of course, you wouldn't call it clean because it has THC, that and it costs about $150-175 for an ounce (one of those rare things, but it exists). I call using 2-3 cones a day abusing it. I mean, would you say someone that got drunk every night to be abusing alcohol? Again, I stated that if you do not abuse it, you will not get any ill side effects from it. If you say otherwise, I would like some proof, because your personal experience was obviously very limited.

Greebe, the links I have provided contain many reports that do prove from studies that if you do not abuse smoking weed, then you will get no ill side effects. The only question is, when do you abuse it? That's a whole other discussion though and differs from person to person.

Blinded by what truth? You haven't shown me anything Wombat. If you do not abuse smoking weed, you will not get any ill side effects. I did cite sites with studies that prove this; you have given me your opinion and a study which did not even test marajuana specifically, but an entire different chemical. Until you can give me any study that says specifically "if you do not abuse marajuana it will still produce ill side effects," then everything I have said is correct based on what I have provided and said many times over.

I have posted links directly to studies about marijuana and cancer. You are so fanciful as to say that only "bad weed" contains carcinogens, et cetera. Also, if you're not so mule-headed as to call the JAMA "worthless", go to their website and search for "marijuana AND cancer" and there are a wealth of studies where you can at least read the abstract, or go to the library and read them. But for the most part, you're not worth my time.

                        1) Your mind will never be changed, because for us to be right you'd have to acknowledge that one of your favorite recreational activities is contributing to your death, which you'll never accept.

                        2) Any reasonable person that decides to read this thread can follow the statements and citations and come up with their own informed decisions, which I'm confident will not match up with yours.

There's nothing more to see here, really.

Those studies never said that marajuana would cause cancer if you did not abuse it, plus they attributed this to certain chemicals which can be reduced or overall avoided. Again, I didn't flat out say that the study was wrong, but I gave my reasons on why it isn't totally giving us the facts. Again, please show me a study where it says that if you do NOT abuse marajuana that it will still cause ill side effects.
