And P650 and P750 should be scale down of SunDog or just Parhelia core on different board.
Pitou = Parhelia 2
I don't know what Parhelia 8X code name though.

After reading the posts here I guess that Matrox's plan could be like this:
For the low-end/2D market the continuation of Millenium series using crippled Parhelia core.
For the high-end market they will release shortly the improved Parhelia with AGP 8x support.
At a time they choose, perhaps next year, the Parhelia will replace Millenium P650/750, maybe with some slight changes and a name like M 1000. And the Pitou will replace Parhelia.
Just a thought.

VJ, get Adobe After Efects, open movie (.mov) and dump/export frames to image (.tiff) sequence.
Than just fire up Adobe Imageready (part of Photochop) and layer selected images and turn them into animated .gif (help is pretty clear on that).
(talk about going OT)

Further more I won't expect the firms to set onto a graphic board based on QuadroFX-2000, when this funny chip needs a so noisy airflow, that you can't concentrate without a louder radio or else sound source which makes the situation bearable.
ATi on the other hand made many mistakes with their professional drivers. So they often first have to win back the confidence of software engineers and customers...
I see a market for matrox here, but's only my opinion.
