I wish - I can't even afford to go see it in the UK

Still they say the TV is the best seat in the house...but I think you have to go soak up the atmosphere at least once.

Yes... There is little doubt that you'll see it better on TV. But if you have ITV, you are lucky: they have the most professional comments I know (they make our commentators look like a buch of comedians), and they do make a big show of it : grid walk, close with the teams, interviews with big names minute before the race ('Ooh, let's see if we can talk to Frank Williams, is still is 5 minutes before the start', and they succeed !), ...
We can be lucky if the broadcast it live, and have the names of the drivers right...

Yes, apart from the adverts, I have to say ITV do a better job than the BBC used to. And for the uk race, if anything happens in the breaks they replay straight after.

Yes, they do have a lot of commercials (sometimes at important moments). But I'd rather have that than having to listen to comments like 'Oh, X is overtaking Y... Oh no wait, that isn't X, well then it must be Z... or not ?' and comments on dumb stuff ('leader is still in the lead' while there are much more interesting things happening).

Yeah Not as exciting as I had hoped. Ferrari are still the ones to beat, so far at least. Many disappointments.

However, it is an 18 race championship, the toughest one yet...anything could happen.

Some guys start as they mean to go on. 18 points to Ferrari in only the first race.
