You will have to ask matrox for permission or ME.

There is nothing like using your own imagination, Mr. Original.

                          • I was an active forum member on this site 3 years ago, when i still had my o so lovely G200 (i still see the same names like Kruzin etc ...) After suffering the Opengl driver torture, i was sick of matrox and the way it handles it's customers. I switched to Nvidia cards, first a TNT2 ultra, then a Geforce 256 and now a Geforce3 Ti500. All of these nvidia cards had/have many advantages: very good 3d performance, good drivers with impeccable opengl support (my Nr. 1 priority) and they were very overclockable for even more performance. I use these cards for games, programming, design and 3d animation (T&L does wonders in 3d-applications). The only disadvantage each card had was 2D quality. When plugging out the G200 and installing the TNT2 ultra, the difference was VERY clear. The colors were washed out and the characters were somewhat more blurry at high resolutions. It didn't require a graphic artist to see the difference, it was obvious to everyone. And on top of that, my new and expensive Ti500 is even worse. Only for that reason do i miss the G200. But ... from the moment nvidia gets it act together and forces the manufacturers to build cards with better 2D quality, Matrox will have even more trouble building a card that can compete with nvidia. If this mysterious card DOES come out and the rumours are true, i'll be thrilled. I'll drop everything and start searching for a shelf with my new matrox card on it. But when i think of how matrox handled driver support for the G200 and all the rumours i've heard about new matrox cards, i really can't believe all this. I feel stupid when i do.

                            • Bringing me back...

Man, those were the good old days. My Mystique G200 was my best friend, played Jedi Knight and MoTS for hours on end, and beautifully. Then my G400 was my faithful companion for way, way, waaaaayyyy too many hours of Half-life and Counterstrike. But alas, the world has moved on, and games require more. Please help me Matrox!

I guess I can survive without Parhelia, though... Being engaged does tend to put computer gaming on the back burner.
Despite my nickname causing confusion, My name is not Bryce and I'm not a man...
