That's not true at all. 300MHz is more than possible on 150nmGigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.Comment

more transistors than parhelia? and matrox seems to release parhelia with 220mhz.
thats why i doubt those specs, of course they could do something weird, like splitting it up in 2 lesser chips with half the transitor count or something.

Maybe if they connect both chips with a 256 Bit bus or use a 3th chip (a memory controller) to connect both chips with the memory
all connections 256 bit or more
