  • I wonder what that low round circular building is near the water. And that bridge like structure should be a dead giveaway, if I only knew what it was. I am guessing its along the US east coast, but not right on the ocean due to the lights in the distance across the water.

          • Nova Scotia?

Never been there, but if I were to go, this is what I would imagine it to look like.

                          • Well, the picture shows a large tidal swell and I know the Bay of Fundy has the largest tidal swells in the world, so I thought that would be specific enough. Of course, I don't know enough to be any more specific anyway - though Reversing Falls does ring a bell now it's been mentioned.

                              • Well, the column in the foreground is Corinthian in style. This originated in the Peloponese (sp?) region of S. Greece, but the style spread though much of S. Europe and W. Asia, with a range of at least 1500 km E-W and 1000 km N-S. Then there are modern follies, reproducing ancient ruins.

I could think of at least 10 sites on this island alone, where this could be. I think there are two clues here: the green vegetation and the red rocks. The former leads me to believe this is possibly towards the N limit of the range and almost certainly taken in winter, compounded by the longish shadows.

                                Somewhere in Macedonia, perhaps?
