Don't get me wrong. I don't think VB is a great beer but I liked it better than the other cans/bottles I ran across. I'll take a fresh micro-brew draft anytime. I don't recall Boags. Maybe it wasn't available on the East coast.

English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleys, knocks them over, and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

I think Boags is a tasmanian beer(never impressed me either)...
As with all Australian beer it must be ice cold..

I just read this at the inquirer's
"We can freely say that DirectX 9 will make some big differences in future games programming since it will include some interesting parts that programmers will love to use. Rather unbelievably, Eva Glass' friend tells us that Microsoft will skip DirectX 9.0, expected by us all, and plump for DirectX 9.1 instead.
What caused this decision and what is the real difference we cannot be sure, but we can give you a hint what you can expect from the new API as well as the cards which support it.
The pixel and vertex shader will evolve to version 2.0, made much easier to use, and you can also expect to see displacement maps inside. Developers like to use these for creating terrains since it's much better than the "bump approximation" that bump mapping uses. Is this anything to do with Kylie Minogue? Ed.]
Expect to see more details on DX 9.1 from Fudzilla very soon indeed."
